This website is operated by SIA “PLConline”, registration number 40203612230, with its actual address at Krustbaznīcas iela 15, Riga, LV-1006, Latvia (the “Seller”).
The terms below are used throughout this Policy with the following meanings:
Buyer – any natural or legal person who submits an Order and pays for the Goods ordered.
Goods – any items listed on the Seller’s website for the Buyer to view, order and purchase through the Seller’s e-warehouse.
Website – the Seller’s website, www.plconline.lv, through which the Buyer may place Orders for Goods.
Order – a request submitted through the Website in which the Buyer selects the Goods to purchase and specifies the preferred delivery method and collection location.
Protecting the privacy of the personal data we hold is a priority for us. We collect, process and store only the personal data that is lawfully obtained and genuinely needed to run our business, meet regulatory obligations, and fulfil our contracts with you.
PLConline takes appropriate care when handling your personal data to keep it confidential, accurate and securely stored. We apply internal procedures and safeguards designed to prevent that data from being accessed, used, disclosed, copied, altered or destroyed without authorization.
Collecting, using and retaining data
Any details about the Buyer that reach the Seller as part of purchasing and delivering the Goods are treated as having been given voluntarily.
By placing an Order through the Website, the Buyer consents to the Seller processing the personal data supplied. Where the Buyer is a legal entity, it must name a contact person, so the Seller has someone to reach regarding the Order and its delivery, to whom relevant updates can be sent, and whose authority to act for the entity can be confirmed. Information about the Buyer gathered through the Website is treated as confidential and is used solely to process personal data for arranging the purchase and delivery of Goods.
Personal data is kept for as long as the Buyer continues to use the Seller’s services, or for as long as the Seller needs it to exercise its rights or meet its obligations under applicable law.
The Seller may use information gathered, directly or indirectly, to personalize and improve the Website and the availability of information online. The Seller also reserves the right to gather anonymous data — information not linked to you or any identifiable individual, such as gender, age, main language, occupation or location — concerning activity on the Website, without this data allowing you to be identified, directly or indirectly. Such information is used to help the Seller understand which digital services and areas of the Website generate the most interest, in order to refine its product range for marketing purposes.
To maintain a high standard of service, the Seller may, within the purposes described in these terms, pass the processing or storage of personal data to data processors bound by a written agreement requiring them to meet the Seller’s data-processing standards. Where doing so would not compromise the Seller’s trade secrets or security practices, the Seller will inform the Buyer which data processors are involved.
Personal data will only be shared with third parties where the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia permit and require it, and following the procedures those laws set out.
Through the personal profile created on the Website, the Buyer gives separate consent for the personal data provided, together with purchase data logged while using the Website, to be processed for market research; for recording and analysing transactions; for tailoring offers; for running promotions and prize draws; for identifying the Buyer; and for general administration — as well as for indicating whether or not the Buyer wishes to receive marketing materials, advertisements and notices.
The Buyer may access their personal data at any time, request corrections where it has changed, or ask for it to be deleted if it is inaccurate or outdated. Such changes can be made directly in the Buyer’s personal profile on the Website, or by contacting the Seller at
As noted above, information about the Buyer obtained through the Website is treated as confidential and used only to process personal data for arranging the purchase and delivery of Goods.
Should the Buyer decide to stop using the Seller’s services, they may request that their personal data be deleted at any time. The Seller will delete the Buyer’s personal data promptly once it is no longer required to meet other obligations under applicable regulations — for instance, retaining accounting records for the purposes of the Product Warranty Terms.
Cookies
PLConline may use cookies to gather data about visitors to the Website in order to improve the service on offer. Cookies are small files placed on a user’s device by websites so the site can recognize the user and work more smoothly for them. Most browsers can be set to alert users when cookies are being used and to let them decide whether to accept them.
Turning cookies off will not stop you from using the Website, but it may noticeably restrict what you can do on it.
The Website’s servers also log your IP address, browser type, language settings, operating system, internet service provider, the date and time of your visit, and how long you spend on different sections of the site. PLConline uses this information solely to keep the Website running smoothly and securely, and for statistical purposes — in particular, to better understand how visitors use the site and to assess their experience on it.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
The Seller assumes that the Buyer has read and accepted this Privacy Policy prior to using the Website. The Seller may amend the terms of this Policy at any time and will notify the Buyer of any such changes by posting a notice on the Website.
